Wayne: When I was a freshman, Willard Adams was All-State first baritone and the next year you took over. Then I was first for two years, but my senior year it was apparent to me that Elroy Neie was much better than I. Good old Chief, not wanting to have the senior band president lose face, solved the problem by having a first chair treble clef(me) and a first chair bass clef(Elroy)!

Send me an update on where you are and what you've been doing all these years. Obviously, it is some type of high-tech or computer profession.

I live in Richardson, Texas.

I'm making a little headway with the names under the pictures. At least I have the headings under the pictures. btw if you see name spelling errors you can let me know in a comment. Even though I had lots of help on the names my fingers don't always know what my eyes are seeing.

Glad that you reminded me. I'll make sure that I add their names as missing under the group photo. I didn't write it down after our emails. :-)

'53 Classmates that were at the Reunion and are missing from the group photo taken at I.J.'s home are Emma Lou Howard Hight, Bob Castleberry, James Lindsay, and Burton Craig. Also, can't believe I didn't get a picture of Ann & Stephen Keller (at least he is in the group and we had Ann taking the picture). We all really had an enjoyable time and missed everyone who could not attend.

Hi I. J.
I was just thinking of Tea and was just thinking that I have learned to like Tea of all types. Don't know if that makes me a Brit or just old age creeping up on me. Have fun.

Ok, I I knew about half of them, but I cheated and consulted with the "expert" (mom/Cora). Now if you want family\genus\species, forget it... ;)
1-Bare Grass
2-Goat Heads
3-Lambs Quarter
4-Dandelion
5-Red Ant Bed (ain't no weed)
6-Wild Daisey
7-Broom Grass
8-Working on this one
9-Wild Morning Glory
10-Ragweed
11-Night Shade
12-Night Shade (blooming)
13-Cottonwood (trees)

David

Hey. I really appreciate these weeds even though it's been a long time since I've seen any of them. Takes me back to childhood. However, I don't (never did) know any of the names except the fourth one, which is dandelions. They are edible. Some of the others might be lambs quarters, which are also edible. But I wouldn't go trying them if you're not sure. :-) Luv you.

Those are some really nice pictures of weeds.

I have no idea what they are but most of them look like they'd make me sneeze. :-)
