50TH REUNION
**Classmate Comments**
What a wonderful time I had at the
Reunion!!!! My husband was so impressed. It was apparent that everyone had
spent many hours working on it. Your efforts really paid off. Words cannot
tell you how much I appreciate your hard work. Thanks so much.

Dear Norman & Fellow Classmates,
To say I had a good time is so blasé. I had a
wonderful experience ! Although we spent just a few short years together, all
of you have been in my thoughts at one time or another. I have tried to get
back to Plainview in the past for one of the reunions, but the time was never
right. I am really glad, because this moment in time was perfect. I have been
to 3- 50 year reunions, Denton, McAllen & the last Plainview. I have loved
them all, but I felt most connected to you Dear Classmates in Plainview ! My
Mother always said the town was not the prettiest, but the people the nicest
and I hardly agree. Thanks to all the hard work all of you have done, to make
a great experience from beginning to end and I am so proud to call all of you
friends ! I hope to keep in touch with you through the years as we journey
into our (Golden Years)??? They talk of Camelot, but I think we lived it in
Plainview and didn't even know it. Hope to hear from you soon
Fondly,
Suzette
Hey, I just wanted to drop you a line and say
thank you for all of your hard work in the staging of
our reunion. I have been involved in similar
projects. We had our family reunion in Red River last
year and I headed that up and after it was over I said
no more. But I so appreciate all your hard work. I
can't remember a more enjoyable time! Thanks again.
Love, Bob
I want to thank everyone again for the marvelous job you did for the reunion. I know it took a lot of your time and effort.
I have always believed that our class had some of the best quality people to graduate from dear old PHS. This past weekend confirmed it in my mind and I thank you again for giving us the opportunity to renew and strengthen old friendships.

Reunion
Just a line to let you know how much I enjoyed the time we all spent together over the very well planned two days.
It was a real joy to see all of the classmates that attended and their spouses and to renew old friendships.
With any luck we can have many more.
Thanks again.
Sikes
PS. I'll keep in touch thru e-mail.
Thanks again for all the organization. It is amazing to me that we could
all pick up the threads of our friendships so easily after so many years.
I really had a good time. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Subject: Re: 50 year success
Thanks for sending the 50 years of survival success. That
was fun to read - and made me aware of how lucky I am to be alive!
I'm also very fortunate for another reason: Last week
Hugh and I spent the evening in Santa Barbara in an old opera house where we
were gloriously entertained by Fred Ormand and other faculty members of the
Music Academy of the West, where Fred in spending the summer. The concert was
just lovely, and then we were able to have a good visit with him afterwards at
a beautiful reception. Fred is obviously a leading faculty member at this
very prestigous school, and I was very proud to be introduced as a friend!
That is just another reason for being so thankful for
attending our fabulous 50th! Seeing everyone again was so special. So thanks
again to you Norman, and everyone else who worked so hard to make it so
successful. Love you all, Dorothy
The Reunion was absolutely fabulous! Everyone seemed to have really good time.
I especially want to thank Norman for the many hours he spent in the planning. The decoratiing committee did a great job! I have several grandkids who have asked if they might have my bulldog. The answer is no (they don't hear me say that very often!). Having the T-shirt to wear was a fun. Thanks, Frank.
Again, thanks to all of you who came to help make the reunion a huge success! We missed those who couldn't make it due to health or other problems. You are in our prayers.
Hugs to everyone,
Jerre
